Ultiworld’s 2019 D-I College Championships coverage is presented by VC Ultimate and Spin Ultimate.
The Division I College Championships seeding has been announced by USA Ultimate! Check out the seeding and pools below. You can find the full schedules (Men’s / Women’s) online, as well. Competition is scheduled for May 24th-27th in Round rock, TX.
Men’s Division
Notes
- These pools are exactly the ones that I predicted. USAU continues to rely very heavily on the post-Regionals rankings. Aside from their weight in the algorithm, Regionals upsets are largely not taken into account.
- UNC is again the #1 seed as they look to defend their title.
Women’s Division
Notes
- These pools are almost exactly the ones that I predicted. The only change: Ohio State and UCSD swapped at #2 and #3. OSU did have a head-to-head win over the Psychos, so it’s justifiable, and it avoids creating yet another rematch between UCSD and UCSB.
- Last year’s champion, Dartmouth, will be a scary #5 overall seed!
