The uncertainties of the 2021 club scene contributed to the formation of new mixed teams, especially within smaller ultimate communities that may not have previously supported a nationals-level squad. Nashville ‘Shine and Arizona Lawless were both first-year squads that rapidly made a name for themselves, earning top 25 rankings and qualifying to the Club Championships. Headlined by well-known stars such as Jesse Shofner and Sean Ham, they saw each other in pool play action, in a colorful and high-flying matchup that came down to Universe Point on the live stream!
