Universe Point: DiG vs. Chain Lightning

Our final edition ahead of Club Nationals!

As we enter Club Nationals week, we celebrate with one of the best Universe Point games we’ve seen this year. DiG and Chain may have been knocked out of contention in the US Open semifinals, but that didn’t stop them from putting on a barn burner of a performance in the 3rd place game. John Stubbs (3G, 3A) and Parker Bray (2G, 3A) led the charge for Chain in this one, but were evenly matched by Peter Boerth (1G, 3A) and Leo Gordon (1G, 2A). With neither team enjoying a lead of more than 2 throughout, Chain’s late defensive break to tie the game at 13s set the course for a Universe Point finish!
