There’s just over a week left to register for the Elite Ultimate Academy, a week-long, overnight ultimate frisbee camp for high-school-aged players taking place just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, at Slippery Rock University from July 9th to 14th. This camp will focus on all aspects of the game: skills, strategy, strength and agility training, sports nutrition, strategic film breakdown, and more.
Boys and girls aged 14 to 18 (including rising freshmen and graduated seniors) who have not yet attended college are eligible to attend the prestigious camp.
You’ll get access to big name coaches, a world-class disc golf course, state-of-the-art housing and dining facilities, and the use of the fields used by the nationally ranked Slippery Rock soccer teams.
Returning as coaches this year are Pittsburgh men’s head coach and 2017 college Coach of the Year Nick Kaczmarek, Pitt captain and strength and conditioning coach Jonah Wisch, former UNC Wilmington star Xavier Maxstadt, and Pittsburgh Ultimate executive director Christie Lawry.
Pitt’s Callahan finalist Linda Morse is joining the coaching staff this year.
Check out this overview video of the EUA and get more information on the website. The five day, six night camp costs just $700, which includes room and board, five days of coaching and training, and a great time.
