This weekend Ultiworld attended the Mid-Atlantic Club Regionals to follow all the action as teams vied for a spot in Sarasota’s Club Championships later this month. The Open finals saw Washington’s Truck Stop — the one seed — take on Philadelphia’s Southpaw, who upset Pittsburgh’s Oakland in semifinals.
It was a hard fought and often tense game filled with big plays, unending stoppages, and many team and player misconduct fouls (including an ejection!) imposed by the game’s four observers. Truck Stop would jump out to a small early lead and hold it throughout, but Southpaw would not make it easy, keeping the game close. Southpaw would give it everything they had, but Truckstop would go on to win 15-13.
We recommend reading our recap of the Mid-Atlantic Club Regional Final before watching the game in its entirety below.
