After canceling Triple Crown Tour (TCT) events through the US Open, USA Ultimate today canceled the remainder of the club season, including the Elite-Select Challenge and Pro Championships, due to ongoing restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic.

The governing body will announce any possible plans for a “potentially restructured postseason” by June 30th.

“All flight assignments, invitations to major TCT events, and requirements to attend specific tournaments will roll over into the 2021 season and will remain unchanged regardless of the outcome of any postseason results in 2020,” wrote USAU in their release. “Specifics about how that rollover will impact 2021 rostering and other guidelines for teams will be discussed and determined at a later date.”

The organization will be announcing return-to-play guidelines in the near future, and it is still set to sanction events where state and local regulations allow for organized sport. USA Ultimate has not sanctioned any events since the March sanctioning suspension.
