- This recap was submitted by an anonymous Rocky Mountain Conference player
With five bids to regionals and five clear favorites, the tangible stakes were low, but pride was on the line with each game. The lower seeds were all determined to punch up against the team seeded right above them. In the end, the tournament went to chalk with Colorado Mamabird taking home the conference championship over Colorado State Hibida in a game that finished 15-8. Hibida capitalized on a shaky start for the Mamabird O-line, generating an early break to put the game back on serve, but would fail to find another break the remainder of the game. Mamabird are playing like a clear top-5 team in the country, but will need to clean up their offense if they want to make noise at the big dance.Elsewhere, Colorado-B continued their recent dominance over Denver, although both teams will play in Tulsa in two weeks. For the first time since 2018 and just the second in program history, CSU B is headed to Regionals. In a game against Mesa that was never close, CSU B rattled off eight total breaks while conceding just one in their game-to-go.
Colorado’s Tobias Brooks and Zeke Thoreson were joined by CSU’s Tim Elliott as the top three players of the weekend. The Mamabird boys play with incredible speed, throws, and tenacious defense while Tim has been a surgical handler for Hibida, finding throwing lanes where few others could.

- #15 Texas TUFF and Texas A&M Dozen advanced from the South Texas Conference. Texas beat A&M on both days to claim the conference crown.

- #6 Cal Poly SLO won the SoCal Conference Championship. UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, UCLA, USC, and San Diego State all placed high enough to qualify for Regionals.
Looking Ahead

Puget Sound Clearcut upset #6 Lewis & Clark Artemis in the semifinals to clinch their spot at Nationals as well.
