Women’s Division
Brute Still the Best
#3 Boston Brute Squad, last year’s national champions, continued where they left off by winning all six of their games in the match play format at the first Triple Crown Tour Series event Pro-Elite Challenge East. Their closest result was the de facto final against #4 New York Bent, a 12-10 scoreline capped off by a first-throw block by rookie Mina Brown that resulted in a break to seal the game. BENT finished 5-1 on the weekend, which included a tight 13-12 victory over #16 Philadelphia Flight.
The offseason buzz seems to be well-warranted for Flight. Initially being seeded seventh, they finished fourth with a 4-2 record. Their run was highlighted by a 15-12 win over regional foes #12 Pittsburgh Parcha.
