Women’s Division
It was a quiet weekend on the Triple Crown Tour Series front with regional competition the only tournaments taking place.
Around the Division
- At the time of this article release, full Battle for the Beltway’s results were not available. Based on current posted results, Baltimore Wave won the title as they finished undefeated over the one-day tournament with some scores yet to be confirmed.
Looking Ahead
Next week is highlighted by both the Select Flight Invite West and East. The West tournament held in Salinas, CA will feature top select teams Salt Lake City Dark Sky and Oakland LOL, while the East edition in Sylvania, OH boasts #8 Toronto 6ixers, #11 Quebec Iris, #15 Dallas Dimes, #16 Madison Heist and #17 Chicago Nemesis. Other regional action includes SwanBoat.
Men’s Division

Around the Division
- Top seeds College Park Town Hall Stars and Richmond Give Me Death were scheduled to fight for first in Battle for the Beltway. The results of this matchup were not reported as of the time of the release of the article. Town Hall Stars defeated Give me Death in their pool play matchup 15-10.
- Baltimore MOB Ultimate won their home MOB Invite tournament with an unblemished 4-0 record. The final round of games was cancelled, leaving three teams finishing with two wins in York Gummy Bear Hitmen, Wilmington EZ, and Washington DC Beef Depot.
- Filling the Void finished with co-champions as the final between no.1 Centennial Park WOMP and no.2 Richmond Crypt was cancelled. According to Crypt’s Instagram story, the game was tied 4-4 before ultimately being called off. Neither team took a loss heading into the championship encounter.
Looking Ahead
Next week is highlighted by both the Select Flight Invite West and East. On the West Coast, #15 Eugene Dark Star will be the favourite in a field of mostly classic flight teams, while #12 Toronto GOAT is the lone power-ranked squad in competition in the East version of the tournament. Other regional action includes Show-Me State Games and SwanBoat.
Mixed Division
It was a quiet weekend on the Triple Crown Tour Series front with regional competition the only tournaments taking place.
Around the Division
- Athens Murmur, the no.3 seed, pulled off an undefeated weekend at Filling the Void, which was highlighted by a 9-6 win over #22 Roma Ultima. The second seed at the tourney Charlotte Catalyst settled for third as they fell to Murmur 11-9 and Roma Ultima 13-7 in the round-robin format.
- Lynchburg Legion defeated Baltimore Ant Madness 11-8 in the de facto final at Battle for the Beltway. Both teams won their individual pools to end up joining YCC team Washington DC Swing Vote in the top round-robin pool.
- Twin Cities MN Superior captured the title at Cheep Thrills with a close 11-10 victory over Lake Elmo Pushovers. Both teams were undefeated up until the final but were tested in pool play as Pushovers got by the ninth seed Minneapolis Lemonade Ultimate by just two while MN Superior also won by a narrow two-point margin over no.6 St Paul Limbo.
- Indiana Pterodactyl Attack (IPA) delivered a sparkling 4-0 record at the one-day Bourbon Bash. The de facto final between IPA and Lexington KOI was not a close affair as IPA took the matchup 13-5.
Looking Ahead
Next week is highlighted by both the Select Flight Invite West and East. California Burrito and Denver Flight Club both were top select teams last season and headline the West version, while on the East side of things, #20 Toronto Union and #21 Nashville ‘Shine are the favourites. Other regional action includes SwanBoat.
