My Midseason D-I College Awards

The shortlists are out, but who would win if the season ended today?

We’re almost through college ultimate’s regular season1, but still a couple months away from seeing players tested in the fires of Nationals. When the dust settles in Texas — after we see who thrives, who survives, and who dives — the Ultiworld team will sit down to decide our annual award winners.

But why wait all that time to have a little fun? We’ve already seen most of the top players and teams takes the field a couple of times, and gotten some meaningful college action in. With Act I over, who have been the stars of the season? If we ended today, who would take home the individual hardware?

Here’s who I’d pick, as a committee of one.
