Every Nationals close to 400 women’s division players flock to the field sites to compete for their respective teams. These are the best players in the North America –and beyond– which is why they’ve made a team that is better than almost 100 others around the nation. Despite all of this, there are still a few that have risen from the ranks. Players that stand a foot above the competition. The crème de la crème of ultimate, the beau monde, the bourgeoisie, the… other French words for extremely good.

The point being, ultimate is not without its stars. Sure, this is a team sport and the best teams are the ones where everyone contributes, but at the same time, sometimes you just gotta let ballers ball. Thankfully for all of us, Nationals is where these stars shine through. If you’re good, you can’t help but show it when the spotlight is brightest.

Over the course of bracket play, there have been plenty of opportunities for these outstanding players to show just how impactful they are as athletes and competitors. This doesn’t necessarily mean they’re in contention for awards or All American teams, but these players lit up the bracket and made it a joy to follow throughout all of Day Two. So without further ado, here are the players that have defined the bracket at Nationals this year.
