With the Stanford Invite final tied at 13-13, Pitt’s Trent Dillon made a crucial mistake after a brilliant play. Pittsburgh had taken possession of the disc after a Wisconsin endzone drop and looked poised to score a break when Dillon got up huge over two defenders. But he called a timeout with none remaining, resulting in an immediate turnover. Watch below.

Wisconsin would go on to score and break on the ensuing point to claim the Stanford Invite title.

Dillon, who otherwise had an excellent game, was self-deprecating after the tournament:

Dillon was referring to a classic moment in NCAA basketball history, when Michigan’s Chris Webber called a timeout with none remaining against UNC in the National title game, a mistake that effectively clinched a win for the Tarheels.
