The Line brings together lists of sevens from our reporting staff.
It’s a World Games year, and everyone at the Ultiworld office is pumped. You know the format: the best of the best national teams face off for a whole week with small rosters in mixed play. But the next six months are going to feel like a lifetime’s worth of waiting… for national team selection news, warm up events, and (finally!) the actual tournament. To pass the time, I thought it would be fun to imagine who would win in a college World Games-style event. For argument’s sake, I made a ranking of the seven programs who, if they combined their men’s division and women’s division teams, would have the best chance to take home the hypothetical gold.
Let the parade of (college) nations begin!
