We’re just over a month into the college ultimate regular season, and about three months away from crowning a national champion. Smoky Mountain Invite is this weekend, Easterns is another month away, and the whole college postseason Series remains on the horizon. All that to say that while it’s easy to get caught up in the highs and lows of early results, it’s important to keep the bigger picture in mind. There’s still plenty of time for teams to find their rhythm, adjust, and make a run towards the overarching goal. Early season performances, both good and bad, don’t always tell the full story. However, in the world of sports, where hyperbole, overreactions, and rash judgements reign supreme, certain teams begin to face mounting pressure to prove themselves. Whether it’s living up to preseason expectations, bouncing back from a slow start, or maybe even proving that positive early-season results weren’t a fluke, here are seven teams that have the most to prove over the coming months.
