The even-year, multi-team champion Kurt Gibson will look to keep his streak alive this season playing with Chicago Machine. He has won three titles in the last six years with three different teams (’12 Doublewide, ’14 Johnny Bravo, ’16 Ironside).

Gibson is currently living in Chicago and has been playing with the AUDL’s Chicago Wildfire this season.

Before he dives into the heart of the club season, though, he will suit up with his former team, Austin Doublewide, for the World Club Championships. Doublewide made a surprise run to the final of the 2017 National Championships and looks to be a formidable challenger for the WUCC title.

Gibson has long been considered one of the world’s best players and made the first cut for Team USA at the World Games before being replaced by Nicky Spiva due to a pectoral injury.
