A quiet weekend aside from from Stanford Invite (Men's) sees a few rankings shuffles, but the apple cart remains firmly upright

D-I Women’s Division Discussion
- The only Top 25 team in action this week, Western Washington, easily took care of business against unranked/D-III teams at PACcon. Nice wins, including three bagels and a breadstick, but not enough for a rankings change.

D-I Men’s Division Discussion
- Weaker field or not at Stanford Invite, UC Santa Cruz still had to go out and win the dang thing. Their undefeated run bumps the Slugs up a spot, while fellow finalists Western Washington enter the Top 25 with wins over ranked teams UBC and Cal now under their belt.
- Dirt’s entrance bumps Ottawa from the Top 25, as the Gee-Gees have yet to take the field in 2025.
- Dexter Clyburn’s absence for Cal wasn’t enough to draw sympathy from the rankings committee. Cal suffers the biggest drop across all divisions this week, falling five spots after a universe loss to (then) unranked WWU and a slim one-point win over unranked Virginia Tech. Cal’s weekend leaves them clinging to the last strength bid per frisbee-rankings.com, with Easterns left to play on Ursa Major’s schedule.

D-III Women’s Division Discussion
- Lewis & Clark firmly upset the natural order of the Northwest, taking down reigning champs Portland not once but twice at PACcon. Portland’s weekend woes also include getting bageled by Western Washington, which could combine to drop UPRoar out of the Top 10 in the coming weeks as East Coast teams like Davenport dig into the meat of their schedules.
- Williams went undefeated at their Strong Island Invitational debut, never giving up more than five points in a strong start for a Nova team hoping to return to Nationals after losing in the 2024 New England game-to-go.
- Not so much Top 25 movement as a fun note about D-III algorithm wackiness: while Claremont has played more games than all but one other D-III team at this point in the season,1 so far all they have to show for their efforts is a lower spot on frisbee-rankings.com than their B team.

D-III Men’s Division Discussion
- Bates took down a windy Grand Northeast Kickoff, but not without a lump. Orange Whip took a one-point loss to Colby in the second round of play in conditions described as “completely unplayable.” While it’s just a one point loss, in the words of our rankers, “but like, it’s Colby College.”
Subscribers, check back next week to see what each team needs to do to set themselves up for postseason success as we enter the home stretch of the 2025 regular season!
