Each season, Ultiworld staff submit a ballot of the best players in the D-I Men’s and D-I Women’s divisions, counting up the votes to rank who they think are the top athletes. From wily vets to buzzy breakouts to rising rookies, we comb the rosters and plant our flags.

Our final rankings also take into account ballots from college players and our subscribers. These ballots will close Monday, April 20 at 1 PM ET.

Chris Graber, a resident of North Canton, Ohio, and member of the UFA’s Pittsburgh Thunderbirds for six seasons, is now the Guinness World Record holder for the pistol squat, setting the world record on May 25, 2025.

Graber, who started playing ultimate with his family when he was 9 years old, has long been known in the ultimate community as a springy and explosive player.

The Club Championship pools are set after National Men’s Director Adam Goff drew teams into pools live on Deep Look earlier today. The World Cup-style draw, instituted in 2023, sees the top four seeds based on USAU’s post-Regionals rankings placed at the top of the pools, then the remainder of the qualifiers sorted into “pots” and randomly placed into the remaining three spots in each pool.

Here are the pools for each division, with the team’s post-Regionals Power Ranking¹ indicated in parentheses.
